Truckee River Travel Bug ports

Parked on Larkin street and used the paved hike and bike trail to visit
Street Vibrations & Truckee River Stash.
Easy walk and a good place to transfer TB's. I-80 is nearby.
Lots of muggles on this popular path.

Great views in NW Reno

Started with Bushville and then I spy, the last straw.
The latter is one of the better cache names I've encountered.
Easier access is to park on Roxbury and take the trail between houses

Then on to NV Central; a new street east of Robb gives easy access.
Great views, nice hide, an old Gold mine and a "Car in the Hole" all nearby.

Last for the day was NLCN, near a great paved hike and bike trail that goes from a school
down to Avenida de Landa. Very private for an urban area, and benches to sit and enjoy the view.

Huffaker Hills Ramble

Didn't know there was more than one Huffaker park, you need to drive up Mira Loma rd to the upper park.
Indiana Jones, Stone Boy, and 52 card Pick-up. Nice walk in the open country, great view from Indiana Jones.

The most clever hide

Drove up Kings Row and parked, then NE to R First Family cache, great views.
Then on and up to Pet therapy cache.
West cross country to Kings Ransom cache, which is the most clever hide I've seen so far.
You don't need to move any stones, and it's an inch above the ground.
A great afternoon of walking with fantastic views.

Picked some up at GBES geocaching Reno cache and headed east to the
Wide open spaces cache. nice views with an old gold mine 30' south, bring a flashlight.

First micro, the last?

Had some errands to run and knew of 2 caches in west Reno, the first a micro.
A micro is a 35mm film canister with paper and a 2" pencil.
Not the easiest thing to find when the GPS is only accurate to 13', but I gave it a try and after 20 minutes found it.
Then east on Simons drive to Rainbow Ridge park and the Haunted canyon cache.
Down in a canyon it doesn't have the spectacular views that most of the caches have,
but is a very nice urban park. Nice walk.

Dam Curiosity

Nice weather the next day so I headed out for some more adventure.
First the cache: Dam curiousity, then Spartacus and Treat which are a short walk from each other and have great views.

Then a short drive north to find Sorry Charlie!
